This year’s headliners, LITTLE ANTHONY AND THE IMPERIALS, is a group that has transcended over the years with their fantastic run of hits from the 50’s until the mid-70s. In 1958, their debut single, “Tears On My Pillow”, sold over a million copies. Epitomized by their dramatic, heartfelt pop/soul records, the Imperials enjoyed their peak success in the ‘60s notably with the singles “I’m on the Outside (Looking In)” (1964), “Goin’ Out Of My Head” (1964), “Hurt So Bad” (1965), “I Miss You So” (1965), “Take Me Back” (1965), and “Hurt” (1966). Their electric charisma will have you singing and dancing to your favorites.
In 1960, Berry Gordy Jr. signed a talented group of vocalists called THE CONTOURS as one of Motown's first acts. Over a half-century later, this legendary group continues to shake 'em down. During their distinguished careers, THE CONTOURS have entertained tens of millions of fans and have sold millions of records along the way. In the 1960's, the group charted eight hits, including Motown's first million-seller and its fastest-rising hit of all time, "Do You Love Me."
JIM QUICK AND COASTLINE have been touring the Southeast United States for more than 15 years, playing nearly 300 shows per year, and has released more than 11 albums including his newest, DOWN SOUTH. Originally introducing their music as the Coastline Band—a band of friends who played the Carolina beach bars day in and day out—the group pushed Quick to the forefront and naturally transformed into Jim Quick & Coastline.
